Reis Studios is a finished workspace for artists founded in January 2002 by Brazilian artist Juvenal Reis. It was created with a goal to provide a finished workspace for contemporary artists in New York City’s now emerging arts district – Long Island City. We feature over two hundred private studios, an art gallery space, experimental gallery, a dirty room, and a small communal coffee area. We also provide a full loading dock with large industrial elevators servicing each of the three floors to accommodate the artists’ transportation needs.
Our studio is a friendly community with over two hundred artists from thirty-five nations and growing. The medium that this communal of artists work with range from painting, sculpting, photography, graphic design, fashion design, installation art, video art, and creative niches from various disciplines. With over 80,000 square feet, studios range from 200 to 1,500 square feet of usable space, 12-foot ceilings, sound and thermal insulated walls, and secure metal doors. Every studio is carefully built to be wired for high-speed internet and free access to WIFI, with some rooms connected to landlines as it sees fit. Most of our spaces have windows and others do not in order to allow artists to control lighting. They also include running hot and cold water and switching for track lights.
Since our opening, Reis Studios has become a recognized brand, transforming the art industry with consistency and professional to the art studio marketplace. We are passionate about helping artists reach their dreams and now we have a waiting list that has now naturally brought our company to the phase of expansion.

Operational Support: We will provide ongoing training and support in many areas, including unit operations, maintenance, customer-service techniques, product order, pricing guidelines and administrative procedures.
Marketing Support: We will coordinate development of advertising materials and strategies, consumer marketing plans and materials.
Ongoing Business Development Support: We will provide our continued research methods and techniques to enhance unit-level profitability.

Your Ownership is Official!
Once we have all decided to move forward, you will review our FA (franchise agreement), sign the appropriate documents, and make your franchise ownership official. You are now a Reis Studios Group® franchise partner!
